The recipe for success is quite simple here: no frills, comfortable and homey atmosphere, and reasonable prices. DOWNTOWN. What a mix! Let it not be said that Demo's doesn't cater to a wide sampling of American diners. Don't expect a classic dinner club atmosphere, but you can count on a casual atmosphere and an energetic staff who enjoys making meals fun for the customers. This family-friendly restaurant serves everything from tasty steaks to well portioned pasta and seafood specialties.

AIRPORT AREA. This no-frills steakhouse and piano bar caters to those looking for a good steak at a reasonable price. The wood and brick decor emphasize the basicality of the menu: good salads, pastas, fish and steaks. Don't be fooled by the less-than-desirable location and exterior; The Fifth Quarter Steakhouse is a consistent favorite by locals for great steaks, and it's been around forever.

WEST END AVENUE. This upscale steakhouse chain specializes in the finest USDA Prime beef selections paired with an extensive by-the-glass wine list (100 different wines). Seafood dishes include tuna mignon, Australian lobster tales, and Alaskan King crab legs. "Discovery Dinners" provide the option for groups of six or more to taste courses paired with different wines, and "Discovery Flights" offer six different wine flights to enjoy.

DOWNTOWN. If more is better, then this is the best! This classic steakhouse offers enormous portions of beef, lobster and seafood, as well as equally large sides of spinach, potatoes and asparagus. Be sure to try one of Morton's famous steaks, particularly the juicy 24-ounce porterhouse ­ 'tis the stuff of legend. Vegetarian dishes available, too. The dessert menu features far too many tempting cakes and pies to pass up. The restaurant's dimly lit bar enjoys the patronage popular of several cigar aficionados, who enjoy puffing their stogies over pre-dinner cocktails.
